I typically hate dealing with contractors, but Black Diamond completely changed my mind about what the experience can be like. From the very beginning, they were affordable, transparent, and incredibly straightforward about pricing. There were no surprise costs or unexpected charges popping up throughout the build. What they quoted us was what we paid. They were also unbelievably responsive. Monte, the owner, and his wife, Lana, were both wonderful to work with. They answered all of my questions and were incredibly quick to respond—even when I had one of those “random pool thoughts” late at night or over the weekend! I never felt like I was bothering them or that I was waiting around wondering what was happening. And they were FAST. I couldn't believe how efficiently everything moved along. We are thrilled with our Black Diamond pool. Monte and Lana gave it excellent detail when it came to the design and got a home run ! I joined a few pool build FB groups and all the issues people post about, I am glad that I can say , “nope, not us.” We have a thing of beauty to look out at and it’s only been two months, and we have entertained a lot of family and friends. Even our dogs stay on the shallow Sun ledge and can cool off with us all summer. Often your builder will check out after a build is finished. I am grateful to say that is not our experience. Used these guys to resurface my 20 year old pool and they did amazing. Most places just wanted to spray over the existing plaster. These guys cut out all the old plaster, cut out all the weak spots. Replastered the pool, replaced all the fittings with new ones. Looks absolutely fabulous. Did it all in less than a week. Absolutely top notch company. Thank you

We hired Monte to build our pool here in North Texas. He provided an honest estimate on the front end which he stuck to with no changes. Now we have a gorgeous pool and can’t wait to get back in it. Biggest plus is that Monte has been very helpful even after building. He helped with some drainage issues and even helped freeze protect with the weather turning cold. Great experience.

Black Diamond Custom Pools was 1 of 5 pool companies who gave me a quote. Every company had the same directions for the quote. Their design came back better than the other companies and the price was competitive. Once the quote was approved we found even more design benefits the others didn’t have. We couldn’t be happier with our pool and the decking. His sub contractors were amazing. They worked with our home builder to schedule the pool from start to finish.
